Mechatronics  Ph.D. old student Ali Mohammadi  is the recipient of 2018 Best Journal Article Award of Calgary University Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Department with his published article in the journal Nanoscale and Microscale Thermophysical Engineering with title ‘Review on Heat and Fluid Flow in Micro Pin Fin Heat Sinks under Single-phase and Two-phase Flow Conditions’, whom he co-authored with the EFSUN co-director, SU faculty member, and SUNUM scientist   

Dr. Ali Koşar. The departmental Peer-Reviewed Journal award is a competitive scholarship to award students in disseminating their research. It is open to eligible MSc and PhD students who publish their work in a peer-reviewed journal.
